The Beyoncé Experience was a 2007 worldwide concert tour by
American singer-songwriter Beyoncé.
The tour comes seven months after the release of Beyoncé's second
album, B'Day, and coincides with the re-release of the album, B'Day
Deluxe Edition. The tour saw Japan, Australia, Europe, and North
America and commenced its final leg in December. The tour, whose
sponsors were Samsung and L'Oréal Paris, ended in Las Vegas, Nevada
on December 30, 2007.
Rehearsals for the tour began in March 2007, in New York City.
Knowles also has three backing singers for the tour, all from her
home town, Houston, Texas. The tour kicked off on April 10 at the
Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, and ended with two dates at The Point in
Dublin. The US leg of the tour began on July 6 at the Superdome in
New Orleans, as part of the 2007 New Orleans Essence Music Festival,
where Beyoncé headlined
